This is how close Audacious was to a major problem this week during the recent storm. A Cat that docks near by us was hit badly in the storm and this pic shows it being righted after being flung around like a rag doll.
I had the pleasure of recently of holding my end of year work function aboard Audacious my experience with the skipper matt and his crew mate colin was outstanding from the very start matt was friendly knowledgeable and put myself and my work parties need first and foremost. The boat was great with lots of room clean and tidy .matt is a great host and i would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great day out on the water and im in the process of arranging my next trip for next year .many thanks again to matt and colin for the wonderful experience aboard Audacious.
Fishing report Audatious ,
Iv been out with captain Matt many times now and they are my preferred charter as the boat is so spacious clean and tidy and has so many options for fishing 🎣,
You don't even feel the big waves as the boat is made for any weather conditions and gets you out there fast no probs 👍,
The food made by the crew is as good as mum's cooking and captain Matt is always bringing out cheese boards and fancy snacks and drinks for the clients to try ( no hungry people on this boat 😉),
He deffently makes you feel like a VIP 😁,
Me and my fishing buddies would definitely recommend Audatious for a day charter or overnighter ,
which we did and found the crew who knew the fishing areas like the back of there hand and had the funniest sence of humour ,
heaps of GD fish enough to share around even !
And had great time all round even saw the dolphins and whales on our cruise out there absolutely amazing experience thanks guys 👍
Yesterday (Sunday 15th December 2019) we went out on Audacious with Matt and Chris. Both had awesome attitudes, were keen to get us on to the fish and gave expert advice. Chris was right there when you had a tangle or a fish on the line, or if something ate part of your line altogether.
The food they provided was simple, yet good quality and delicious. Everyone had their choice of beverage and the rods we hired were in good condition.
The boat has everything you could want or need, beds, a flush toilet with a very generous sized bathroom, kitchen facilities, lounge and dining space, plus an upstairs area to relax and watch the view whilst cruising to your destination.
We were fortunate enough to have a group of friendly dolphins playing alongside us too.
We went with a group of 11 and that was probably a perfect number.
We caught snapper, a shark and a bait fish. BONUS we all went home with snapper for dinner too!
Our next fishing charter I will definitely be phoning Matt again.

A great weekend at the Barrier - Thanks skipper. Loved the bait versus jig/soft bait competition. Bait still rules supreme haven taken the two top snapper spots as evidenced in your photos. Looking forward to the next trip out.
